Online Registration for Boats From Next Year

The  Ministry of Fisheries  will next year introduce an online system enabling boat owners to carry out work related to registration.

Accordingly, registration of boats will be handled via online once in every two years.  This decision was taken following requests by fishermen who live outside Colombo.

It is mandatory to visit the Ministry for registration of boats.
