Love Cheat Earns 1 Year Rigorous Imprisonment

One of the Tamil announcers  operating in  Srilanka  has started a fake love  affair with a Srilankan girl gone abroad for studies. She was earning in foreign currency by working outside her college time.  Srilanka fake lover through his lovely words and deeds made her mad over  him and obtained money as an when needed.  He has undertaking to marry  her and obtained  Rs 23lakhs from her. Later he cheated her .  She went  to court for redress.  In the meantime,   he returned Rs750,000 through fear. In the court, he has paid back another  Rs 4lakhs

When the case was inquired by the Fort Magistrate, he has passed one year rigorous  imprisonment for the accused.
