Former President Mahinda signs nomination paper to contest from Kurunegala

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has signed the nomination papers to contest Parliamentary elections from the Kurunegala District.

Leader of the NFF Wimal Weerawanse confirmed the news during a media briefing currently being held in Colombo.

Meanwhile , former President’s media coordinator Rohan Weliwita stated that former President Rajapaksa will contest under betel leaf symbol.
