Bail Granted to Shashi Welgama

Former Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Chairman Shashi Welgama, on charges  misappropriated Rs. 125 million funds belonging to the CTB was released on bail by the Colombo High Court today(6).

He was released on a cash bail of Rs.200, 000 and two sureties of Rs. 5 million each. He was also banned from leaving the country.
