Boat Ride by Dinesh to Parliament

Leader of the joint opposition Dinesh Gunawardena was prohibited attending Parliament on an order given by the Speaker. As he continued to disrupt proceedings after the speaker turned down a request by Wimal Weerawansa to function as an independent member, Speaker had to call for a vote. In the voting on Wednesday (08), House voted 85-22 to impose the ban on him over his unruly conduct.

Followed by this Dinesh is planning to arrive in parliament via Diyawanna Oya by boat.
