Report on Alleged Forceful Birth Control Practice in Dambulla Hospital Submitted

Followed by wide spread   allegation that  visiting  mothers  being subjected to  forceful birth control  process,  an  investigation was ordered by the health authorities.  Various departments have also  begun investigations on the matter.

The primary investigation report on the controversial surgical procedures carried out at the Dambulla Hospital will be handed over to the health ministry later today (13), Dr. Charles Nugawela said.

Any further action to be taken will be decided upon by the health ministry.
