The Bribery Commission had filed a case against the former Defence Secretary, alleging that by allowing Avant-Garde Maritime Services (Pvt.) Ltd. to operate a floating armoury, he caused losses of Rs.11.4 billion to the government.
He has filed his preliminary objections in the case filed against him by the Bribery Commission.In his submission he alleged that the case had been filed against him without the consent of the Bribery Commission.
Counsel appearing for the Bribery Commission however submitted that the case had been filed with the consent of the Bribery Commission.
