To Increase Contribution Towards Economic Goals 5 Companies Signs a MoU
The State Enterprises Department issuing a communiqué said, that the Electricity Board, the Petroleum Corporation, the National Water Supplies Board, the Airport and Aviation Company as well as the Sri Lanka Ports Authority had been selected for signing a Corporate Memorandum of Understanding for Government business, which has been approved by the cabinet.
The aim of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to increase contributions towards the country’s economic goals through state owned enterprises that add to the gross national production.
Meanwhile , the Minister of Public Enterprises Development Kabeer Hashim said, yesterday that action would be taken to protect government owned properties.
