Weather Forecast For 16th March 2017

Prevailing showery condition is expected to gradually reduce within next few days (from tomorrow).

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle district after 2.00 pm.

Showers or thundershowers will also develop at few places elsewhere after 2.00 pm.

A few showers may occur in the North-Eastern coastal areas of the island in the morning too.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
