More Disclosure in Lasantha’s Murder Case

Senior journalist Lasantha Wickremetunga’s murder  case was taken up before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s court earlier this morning(20). The CID has  disclosed several new facts to the Court.

They  informed the court about the actions of former Director of Army Intelligence, Major General Kapila Hendawitharana and a special unit that functioned under him in relation to the murder of Lasantha Wickremetunge, and assaults on several other journalists.
