Examinations at the Eastern University’s faculty of Communication and Business Education, Experimental Education and the Siddha Medical Faculty in Trincomalee were held on 28th last month. But, examinations results have been issued to only a group of the students. 16 students were banned from attending class following a decision by university administration.
Hence, students of Trincomalee Wing of the Eastern University engaging in riotous protests, the University Authorities has decided to close down the wing indefinitely.
