Government Accepted International Judges?

UNHRC resolution on Srilanka taken in the year 2015, specifically mentioned that services of International Judges should be obtained in the inquiry panel looking into the war crimes in Srilanka. The Srilanka government has accepted that this same condition remains unchanged in the new UNHRC proposal to be taken for discussion.

Although, the President and the Prime Minister continued to deny inviting international judges, the government on the other hand has accepted it in the new resolution presented to 34^th UNHCR session. Former Minister of foreign affairs G.L. Perris revealed this yesterday in a press conference called at the Joint Opposition office.
