Change of Government Changes Commission Percentage

Under previous government to get through a project or contract or any other big job 10% commission was demanded and obtained by the then politicos. But under good governance government, the percentage of commission has come down to 5%.

A local investor in collaboration with a foreign partner was running a construction firm. This construction firm was awarded with an “expressway” project in the up country. Investors were invited by a powerful politico at his office. Immediately after arrival politico appeared before them and business dealing commenced. Politico did not waste any time. He quickly asked investors to pay 5% commission. But the investors pleaded they could afford to pay only 1% commission. After persuasion most reluctantly investors agreed to pay 2% commission. Unsatisfied politicians has given time to them to reconsider the percentage they offered. However, investors have now decided to standby 2%commission they have already offered.
