Proposed massive Protest Organised by JO Dissipated
Earlier JO has planned to bring a massive crowd of protesters to Colombo to show their strength. This is to show protest against the postponing of the local government election. An action committee headed by a former Chief Politician of Gampaha was appointed to handle this operation, scheduled to be staged in 3rd week of March 2017. While the committee members, the party leadership and other stalwarts were waiting with great expectation that Gampaha politico will swing into action with all vigour zest at his command, to their disappointment Gampaha chief politico had quietly skipped the country. His vanishing trick has shocked the former strong man and the party stalwarts. All of them feel that they had been badly led down by the Gampaha chief who once functioned as the chief of that province.
