Wimal Fasting With Lemon Puff in his Pocket? – Nalin Bandara

Speaking during adjourning time in Parliament yesterday, UNP MP Nalin Bandara said , that he came to know MP Wimal Weerawansa now in remand prison in connection with the misuse of vehicles during his tenure as Minister and caused loss to the State, has commenced fasting in prison. Nalin said, when I heard this my mind went back and recollected his famous fasting episode staged at Thunmulla during Mahinda’s regime. During that fast he ate lemon puff, which made me to request prison authorities to see whether he has lemon puff in his pocket, he hinted. Further, he said that whenever he comes to Parliament, the quantity he eats looked like hills. Morning meal looks like Pedurudalagalla hill, while his lunch looks like Samanala hill and the dinner is similar to Knuckle hill. Another interesting feature is when their leader is fasting in prison, his comrades cum members in Parliament enjoy full meals? he concluded.
