A request was made by Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Attorneys to allow the Kurunegala District Parliamentarian cum Former President to appear before the Commission today(24).
Followed by this, Mahinda Rajapaksa has been summoned to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry today.
He has been summoned before the Commission to record a statement pertaining to charges over the failure to pay for advertisements broadcast on state television, during the 2015 Presidential Election.
