European Union has imposed fishing ban on Sri Lanka due to lack of recorded data maintained by the Srilankan Fishermen fishing in international waters.
Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development said, that proper training will be given to local fishermen to correctly record their yield when fishing in international waters.
