Mahinda Slams the Government for Jailing Opponents to Rule the Country

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, addressing at a rally organised by the Joint Opposition (JO) in Galle during the weekend blasted the government for ruling the country by jailing opponents. He accused both the President and the Prime Minister of being complicit in the plan to jail opponents. Directions are given from abroad for them to rule the country.

“They think by using and controlling the FCID, the CID and the Prisons Department they can continue this rule.”

 “I hold both top 2 responsible for what is happening in the country,” he said.
