Beware of AH1N1 Spread Govt. Warns

Respiratory transmission occurs mainly by droplets disseminated by unprotected coughs and sneezes as a  result of AH1N1.

Deputy Minister of Health Cassim Faizal said 40 individuals in the Puttalam district alone are suspected of being diagnosed with the virus thus far.Their being directed to medical tests where it will be confirmed if the group has contracted the AH1N1 virus.

The government says there is high possibility of the rapid spread of AH1N1 or Influenza in the island.
