Prasanna Ranathunga and wife summoned on July 14

 

The Colombo Fort Magistrate had issued a notice on the Western Provincial Council Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and his wife Morin Ranatunga to appear in court on July 14 for not appearing before the FCID, sources states.

Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and his wife were summoned to the FCID this morning to record a statement over allegedly misappropriating Rs. 5 million with regard to a land transaction.
