2008 Fort Railway Bomb Blast: A Suspect Sentenced to 20 years Imprisonment

A suspect was given 20 years  imprisonment after being found guilty of aiding and abetting the suicide bombing at the Colombo Fort Railway Station in 2008. Twelve civilians died in this incident .A Tamil man was charged with plotting, aiding and abetting the suicide bombing while he was sentenced 20 years imprisonment today (29) by the Colombo  High Court.
