Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces (particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, Uva and Southern provinces) after 2.00p.m.
A few morning showers also can be expected in the Eastern coastal areas.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
