Government Decided to Increase the Vehicle Permit Quotas for Retiring Ministry Secretaries

Ninety ( 90)   percent   of the  current  Ministry   Secretaries will be retiring  at the end  of  this year.

The Srilanka  government had decided to increase the  vehicle  permit quotas for secretaries waiting retirement  in the government ministries in 2018.

The permit quota for a first grade official, which was at $30,000 had been increased to $45,000. Second grade officials have had their permits increased from $27,000 to $40,000. For  third group of  officials the permit has been increased from $27,000 to $35,000.
