Release People’s Land- Sampanthan

Leader of the Joint Opposition and Leader of the TNA met the President of Srilanka Maithripala Sirisena and requested that the land captured and retained by the security forces in the North should be released to them.He has placed justifying facts before the President, who in turn has contacted the Army Commander . Subsequently President assured releasing of lands , but the period  to release land will be decided  in consultation  with the Army Commander.
