Lies Against Lyca Leads to Legal Action Against MP Charles Nirmalanathan

International mobile phone giant Lyca Group has built  a community centre and 150 houses, each with two bedrooms, a kitchen and a toilet in Sinnnaadampan and Puliyankulam in the Vavuniya district.

MP Charles Nirmalanathan while  talking to a South Indian-based TV station ‘Puthiya Thalaimurai  made a number of defamatory and false allegations  against Lyca.

This project  was expected  to be opened by South Indian film idol Rajinikanth, who had refused to accept the invitation.

Lyca has issued a legal notice to the MP Nirmalanathan demanding that the comments are immediately withdrawn, an apology is issued and damages of 250 million Sri Lankan Rupees from  MP Charles Nirmalanathan.
