Rajitha to Visit Northern Province Today

Minister of Health Rajitha Senarathne will today engage in a tour in the Northern Province in order to determine how Health Services in the province can be developed.

 Health Minister will attend the opening ceremonies of the Vavuniya District Hospital Blood Transfusion Center, the Mamaduwa Kidney Center and the opening of medical officer’s official housing complex of the Mannar hospital.

A discussion will also be held under the patronage of the Health Minister pertaining to the issues surrounding the health service sector in Vavuniya and Mannar. He  will tomorrow inaugurate the Out Patient Department of the Velani District Hospital in Jaffna.

Afterwards arrangements have also been made for discussions to be held pertaining to the issues surrounding the Health Services sector in Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts.

Issuing a statement the Health Ministry stated,  that the Health Minister will also attend a gathering of the representatives of the All Island Pharmacy Owners Association, of the Northern Province.
