JO Disturbs Parliamentary Proceeding on Time Allocation Issue

When the Parliament met today , the Speaker had granted Joint Opposition leader MP Dinesh Gunawardena 30 minutes  time in order to deliver a statement on the topic during the debate today (6). But JO MPs shouted that the time allocation  given is insufficient  and behaved in an unruly manner.

In order to  defuse  tense situation, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya  has  adjourned the  Parliament till tomorrow (7).
