In a recent visit to North Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna said, that there were no war crimes committed in Srilanka. We don’t agree that war crimes in Srilanka. Therefore there is no need for a war crimes probe. For war crimes committed by LTTE , to whom we should report? Rajitha asked.
Chief Minister of Northern Province, C.V.Wigneshwaran in reply to this said voiced that an investigation must be carried out regarding the war crimes committed by the LTTE as well. He made this remark speaking at a media briefing held in Jaffna yesterday.
