Areca Nuts Will be Banned Through a New Bill Under the Food Act

Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senarathna while addressing  in  Parliament  said, that the use of Areca Nuts will be gradually stopped through a new bill under the Food Act.
Areca nuts were another reason to cause cancer in addition to the use of tobacco, he concluded.
