Kotadeniyawa Woman Murder: A Suspect Arrested
A suspect was arrested in connection with the recent brutal hacking to death of a woman in the Kotadeniyawa area.
A 68-year-old woman was found murdered at a residence in Katugenda, Kotadenyawa on 12th April 2017.
Following investigations, police arrested an individual who had worked as a domestic helped at the house in question while he had pleaded guilty to the murder during interrogations.
Police said that the suspect has murdered the woman in order to steal her gold chain.
