Malfunctioning Norochcholai Generator Caused Power Disruption

A generator in the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant complex malfunctioned as from early morning  today, disrupting  power supply  to many areas  including  Ratnapura, Matugama, Kottugoda, Matara,  Athurugiriya, Sapugaskanda and Gosgama .

However, power supply was restored in these areas, Ceylon Electricity Board says.
