Former Army Personnel to Give Statements Over Lasantha Murder

Lasantha Wickrematunge was assassinated down Attidiya Road on the 8th of January 2009.

A group of former army personnel are due to record a statement at the Criminal Investigations Department today over the murder of veteran journalist Lasantha Wickrematunge.

Accordingly, Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera, Major General Mano Perera and Major General Kumar Perera are due to record a statement at the CID today.

The trio are scheduled to arrive at the CID this morning.
