While Meethotamulla Death Toll Risen To 32 Rescue Operation Continues

A section of the Meethotamulla garbage dump collapsed on residents on Friday (14), burying about 150 homes. In this disaster valuable 32 lives have been lost. Another 28 recorded missing .

Earlier, the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has declared the Meethotamulla area a danger zone and warned residents of over 150 homes to evacuate from the area.

 More than 1,500 combined forces  continued  on-site combing for the bodies of those missing.
