Dew Gunasekara Warned a Military Coup or a Youth Revolution in Srilanka

 Former Minister Dew Gunasekara has given an interview to a Colombo journal. In his interview he said, if the government follows the current path for the future, there will be a military coup or a youth revolution.   People expected solutions for problems faced by them during Mahinda’s regime and changed it with the good governance government. Since new government assume duties, two years have passed, but nothing happened.  People expected cost of living to come down but it is sky rocketed today. Foreign investments have not come into the country despite President and the Prime Minister visiting all the countries. Government claims that the international countries are now friendlier with Srilanka. But not a single foreign investment has come into Srilanka. Further, none of the international countries have come forward to assist Srilanka in the economic front. As a whole everything is in a mess.  Only half the period is left for the government to prove their mettle. If this situation continues, there will be a Military Coup or a Youth Revolution in future, he concluded.
