Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, Faizer Mustapha said, that a cabinet paper has been issued on the local government elections.
He further said, that he will be presenting the cabinet paper as soon as time permits.
In the meantime, Minister of National Co-existence, Mano Ganesan stated, that once the cabinet paper has been submitted, decisions on future local government elections procedure will be made.
