President Directed Authorities to Pay Rs 150,000 Lump Sum Payment to Meethotamulla Victims

 A meeting was chaired by the President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat this morning to discuss streamlining of solid waste management in Colombo and its suburbs

At this meeting the President said, as lump sum  payment would assist those families that are struggling to rent out temporary accommodation, he has directed  authorities concerned  to pay the proposed Rs 50,000  monthly allowance as a lump sum of Rs 150,000 to the relevant beneficiaries of Meethotamulla.
