The Government sources said, that current Defence Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi is to be appointed as the Srilankan Ambassador for Germany . He will resign his Defence Secretary post to take over diplomatic posting in Germany. Hence, a new Defence Secretary will be appointed soon.
