Search for Buried Gold in Mullaitivu but Found Tea Cup

On order given by the Mullaitivu Magistrate M.S.M.Samsudeen, police have dug several places, where gold suspected to be buried by retreating tigers in the year 2009.

First of all police dug demarcated areas in Pudukuduirippu and Aanandapuram. Instead of gold they found tea cup.

Further, they dug demarcated areas in Pudukuduirippu Vannipuram in the presence of Mullaitivu Magistrate and found nothing. Police was seen filling the areas where they dug.
