Strike Action By GMOA Led Trade Unions Unjustifiable

Minister of Public Administration and Management, Ranjith Madduma Bandara said, proposed strike to be conducted tomorrow (05) by trade unions is an unjust action.

Further he said,  trade union representatives had not  made any  attempt to formally discuss their issues with government officials. But Assistant Secretary of the GMOA, Dr. Haritha Aluthge stated that government officials had not arranged for any such discussion to address their issues.

Various trade unions belonging to the fields of health, transport, teaching, and crude oil have confirmed their support for the strike to be held tomorrow (05),led  by the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA).
