Case Against A.H.M Fowzie Postponed

The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today (5) postponed the case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against State Minister A.H.M Fowzie in connection with  misuse of state vehicles.
The State Minister is charged with using a vehicle donated by the Netherlands to the government for his personal use.
The Bribery Commission informed Court that the use of the vehicle resulted in a loss of 1 million rupees to the government.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Ranasinghe ordered the case to be heard again on the 27th June 2017.
