Presidential Secretariat , Higher Education & Health Ministries Joint Statement on SAITM Released

Presidential Secretariat, Ministry of Higher Education and the Health Ministry have jointly announced the policy measures that have been taken in respect of Malabe Private Medical College (SAITM)  to ensure standards of medical education and the freedom of education in Srilanka.

Accordingly, decision has been taken to provide clinical training to students,  who passed the final examination at Malabe Private Medical School in Homagama and Avissawella government hospitals. Further it states that it is mandatory for these students to sit an examination conducted jointly by the Sri Lanka Medical Council and University Grants commission.
