“FCID to be legalized” – PM Ranil Wickramasingha
Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe stated that the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) was set up to investigate inti the corruption and frauds would be legitimatized to continue the investigations after August 17th.
The Prime Minister (PM) made this comment addressing him United National Party (UNP) special convention which adopted a resolution to work as a broader political front pursue good governance and democracy.
He also promised power devolution to the Island’s provinces as part of the reconciliation process with the minority Tamils.
