Illegal Constructions of 36 Buildings Identified

Followed by the seven storied building collapsed in Wellawatta  costing lives of three and injuring around 23 persons, the Sri Lanka Land Reclamation & Development Corporation has carried out a study with the assistances of other relevant institutions and identified 36 buildings that have been erected illegally.

The chairman of the corporation, Asela Iddamalgoda said, measures have been taken to remove all  illegal constructions effectively and immediately.
