Army Hold Land More Than Its Need

Northern Provincial Council member M.K. Sivajilingam while addressing media at Jaffna said yesterday that to accommodate Army  600-700 acres of land were enough but about 4,000 acres of land in Valikamam were kept by the Sri Lanka Army.

Excess Army in the Northern Province should be withdrawn within the next six months to pave way to release lands to the public for their legitimate living.
