Considerate Employer Paid Employees Salaries after the Building Damaged by Fire
“Chennai Silks” is a popular textile centre in T.Nagar in Tamil Nadu. Chennai Silks 7 storied building was engulfed by fire in the morning day before yesterday (31st). Fire spread up to the 7th story and fire brigade fighters had to fight for 36 hours to bring the fire to under control. However, the building is more or less destroyed.
1300 employees employed in the complex were worried about their immediate future. However, considerate employer addressed them and said not to worry and paid their monthly salary yesterday. Further, all employees were transferred to other branches of “Chennai Silks” in Tamil Nadu.
