Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and North-western provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces and Vauniya district after 2.00 pm.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Matale and Polonnaruwa districts.
