25,000 Persons Still Remain in Temporary Shelters Due to Flood & Landslide

The Disaster Management Centre said 25,000 persons still remain in temporary shelters due to the flood and  landslide the country was struck by recently.

The  Disaster Management Centre issuing a statement said 225 temporary camps have been set up to house those displaced.

The DMC added efforts are underway to provide relief to those affected by the extreme weather, while search operations are continuing for those still deemed missing.
