Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Southern, Central and North-western provinces.
Some showers can be expected over Northern Province too.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at few places in other provinces after 2.00pm.
Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Mathale and Hambantota districts.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during showers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
