Increase in Prices of Sugar Based Products

Followed by imposition of a special commodity levy of Rs 10 per Kg  for imported sugar, traders have increased prices of sugar based  products such as tea, plain tea , sweets , sort eats and certain bakery products. National Moments for Consumer Right’s Protection  has requested the Government to re fix maximum retail price for sugar in the face of special commodity levy imposed.
