2 Nabbed With 400 Liquor Packets in Anuradhapura Holy City

Followed by an arrest of a person selling liquor in packets inside the holy city this noon (8 th ), he was interrogated. He spilled the beans and told the Excise Dept. Officials from where it was supplied. Special Division officers of the Excise Department sent from Colombo to Anuradhapura Holy City lost no time and raided the place and found 400 well packed liquor packets kept ready for distribution to sell among pilgrims. Two persons in whose custody 400 liquor packets kept were arrested by the Excise Dept. Officers and handed over to the Police.
